Mass General Brigham offers special programs for patients who are insured through Medicaid (MassHealth). These programs are designed to address the needs of the whole patient. The delivery of health care is important for staying healthy, but it is not the only thing that can affect a person’s health. Other factors can influence health such as: employment and income, childhood experiences, home environment, the kinds of people in a person’s life, food, along with many other factors.

Mass General Brigham has rolled out programs that screen for challenges in these social conditions, connect patients with helpful services, and leverage existing community-based programs to support patients in meaningful ways. We have created a number of patient education videos related to our Medicaid program.

These videos are for patients and their friends and families. These videos are not a substitute for your care team. If you have a specific question related to our Medicaid programs, please contact your care team.
